Thursday, Jul. 10, 2008
WASHINGTON – The Senate Appropriations Committee has approved $225,000 in federal funding for a disaster recovery data center at Elliot Hospital System in Manchester. The funding is included in the Fiscal Year 2009 Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations bill, which is now ready for consideration by the full Senate.
"These resources will help ensure the continued delivery of high quality, cost-effective health care to thousands of individuals and families who utilize medical services at Elliot Hospital," said Sen. John Sununu, R-N.H. "The funding will allow continued work on a computer back-up and support center in Londonderry for its electronic medical records system."
