The New Hampshire Republican Party has quit as a co-sponsor of Sunday night's nationally televised GOP forum on FOX News.

The event became controversial when FOX refused to include Ron Paul. State party chairman Fergus Cullen said this afternoon that both Paul and Duncan Hunter were wrongly barred.

Great going GOP- New Hampshire! Although not a republican it is great to see your sense of fairness and inclusiveness in wanting to open up the debates to all candidates on both sides.
Both ABC and the Fox Network should not hold a monopoly on what the people see and hear.
- Brian Martin, Portland, Oregon

Tonight's debate should be yet another opportunity to have John McCain widen his lead ocer the other contenders.
Last night's debate left Mitt reeling; and for good reason. His negative campaigning has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, and now he is apying for it.
Aslo, as to Romney... can anyone tell em why he should be president? He saved the Olympics? ( what, they were in jepopardy of not having them that year- WEAK. ) (Oh, yeah, he was a single term governor in Massachusetts that accomplished little, and then left the seat wide open for a Democrat- real strong Mitt!) ( & finally, oy yeah, he's a business legend! Does he ever speak about the companies he ran? I know it isn't GE or an Apple. No, Mitt ran a capital investent group that bought companies and gutted them for the bottom line. Just ask him; or doesn't anyone have the guts. He is no Jack Welch, in fact it may being starting to sink in he is in the big leagues now, and he is out of his league.)
Get ready for President McCain, and Mitt, we do need a President that has national security experience. You, my friend, are a one trick pony and all the negative campaigning in the world will not change that. Even Rudy said that Ronald Reagan ( remember him ) woild be a target of your negative coampaigning.Just maybe, you ( or your mirror ) are not as brillaint as you think you are. Bye Bye Mittster!

Nice job, NH GOP! In withdrawing support, you have defended the tradition of the NH Primary. Too bad St. A's hasn't shown the same courage.
- Ann Pelletier, Dover, NH

By not including Ron Paul in it's Sunday night debate, FOX News is proving once again that its coverage of the issues that face our nation is Unfair and Unbalanced.
- Jim McCann, Rye

THank you for fighting for fairness, New Hampshire. This is one of the most importnat elections in recent history and we must have all the information available to us to decide.
- Brian, Jenison, MI

I have now watched the first hour of the GOP debate. My impression is the theme should be "Four more years". With the exception of Ron Paul, all the candidates want to continue the Bush Doctrine of higher spending (primarily on wars and the military), lower taxes and higher deficits. I have to wonder what they are thinking? Is GWBush their hero?
- Stephen Boyington, Chester

Paul outpolled Giuliani almost three to one in Iowa. He raised more money than all the other candidates last quarter and he is currently polling third in one NH primary poll and fourth in another.

Certainly it makes sense to exclude no-hoper candidates, particularly now that there have been actual votes taken. Hunter is not viable according to any measure you take. It makes little sense to invite him.

Paul is as viable as any other candidate for the GOP nomination. He is completely crazy of course, but not the craziest in that field by a long way. They all ascribe to the peculiar notion that reducing taxes increases tax revenues.

Please take some time and send the NH GOP a thank you for standing up for fairness!

Thank you for doing right by the nation's voters.

People -- not commercial TV -- elect Presidents.

There are 21 (that's twenty one) candidates on the GOP NH Primary Ballot.

Hello- time to get down to the 'real' candidates
- Mike, Goffstown

Good for the New Hampshire GOP. Now if Saint Anselm College would withdraw support. Fox News is making the college look bad.
