People!! Some major denial going on here. Senator Sununu won't be relected for one reason.
IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- John, Manchester
Sununu is the only good egg left in congress from the Granite State. If we lose him, we have no credibility left whatsoever. Gregg is total garbage, and I for one would like to see someone who is a real conservative in; Sununu is closer to that than Judd ever will be. Do we really want Jeanne Da Wene back??
- Tim Comerford, Fremont
Good point Rudy. Gregg is the senator to vote against when his turn comes up. To Steve I say, drill, drill, drill. Don't complain about our reliance on foreign oil and then complain if we try to drill here. China is going to be drilling off the coast of Florida, and you environmentalist wackos won't let us drill there.
The whole addiction to oil slogan is the true bumper sticker slogan.
- Steve Dennis, Kingston
Sununu's votes on Alaska's environment, where I was born and raised, are outrageous! He is in the Senate, ruining our environment and not doing a thing about reducing our addiction to oil. He has not voted for renewable energy, just drilling everywhere including in wildlife refuges, beautiful areas and important habitat for all sorts of animals that the Alaska Natives depend on!
- Steve Brown, Anchorage, AK
Sununu ONLY voted for the immiration bill because of the 08 election. He's an open borders guy like Judd. And.....most of the liberals coming up here are from NJ & NY &VA. The Mass people tend to be conservatives.
- Jake Smith, Gilford
We already have a democrat senator in DC, it appears. His name is Judd Gregg.
- Rudy Davis, Pelham, NH
I get a kick out of how the Democrats are trying to accuse Sen. Sununu of applying a double standard to George Bush by not calling for his impeachment regarding commuting Scooter Libby's sentence, saying he called for Clinton's impeachment due to a "private sexual matter" and should apply the same standard to George Bush. Sen. Sununu called for Clinton's impeachment because he lied to a Federal Grand Jury over the "private sexual matter", not for the disgusting event itself. Democrats have no substance or agenda though. It doesn't surprise me that they would try to make the Scooter Libby issue "all about sex". They need to go back to Massachusetts.
- Joe Bartlett, Hooksett
What the voters need to remember is that Sununu had a key vote in blocking the immigration bill. If we have a Democrat president, with a larger majority in the senate, this bill will pass.
Hopefully New Hampshire will wake up from their mistake in November and not repeat the same mistake of an Iraq war protest vote when we have a huge issue like the immigration reform bill just looming there waiting for Democrats to reintroduce it.
- Steve Dennis, Kingaton
Seems like there is no stopping the liberal infestation from Taxachusettes. Stay strong Sununu!
