The couple charged in last week's robbery of a local convenience store were arraigned yesterday.

Jeremiah Grant of Rochester and Sizaida Maldonado of Dover, both 28, allegedly robbed the Conway Variety Store in Conway Village Wednesday, taking off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Conway police Lt. Chris Perley said the pair were not armed at the time, but police across the state were warned that they could be.

Maldonado was arrested in Concord Thursday night, and Grant turned himself in at the Nottingham Police Department.

She was charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another at yesterday's arraignment in the District Court of Northern Carroll County. She was freed on $15,000 personal recognizance, and a probable cause hearing was set for Dec. 22.

Grant was charged with one count of felony robbery and was ordered held for lack of $5,000 cash or surety bail. A probable cause hearing was set for Dec. 8.
