Anything but Bush - what a disgrace!
- Paul, Merrimack

A universal health plan that really was, instead of vacuous slogans, would go a long way toward producing unity in this voter's mind.

You don't get to the position that Obama put himself in by being a dummy or a hollow suit. He surrounded himself with smart, level-headed people and has leadership skills that can't be taught. He didn't ride on the coat tails of anyone. There is something to be said for someone of color with the name Barrack Hussien Obama arriving at the point potential to win the highest level in office against one of the biggest political machines around. (other than Bush & Co.)

And contention to this argument, I feel, will probably be some empty, shallow, shot from the hip like most of the knee-jerk comments here.
- cb, Manchester

Tom, are you serious? Enough with this about McCain being Bush's third term. If you want to play that game, lets talk about Obama being Jimmy Carter's second term. McCain is a totally different person with totally different stances and views on many issues. Attack McCain if you want on what he actually stands for, but enough with the childish scare tactics trying to tie Bush to McCain.

It is really a bit juvenile to tell you the truth and just proves that all the Democrats do is try to win elections based on being opposite to the Republicans, but once they get elected, they have absolutely no true ideas of how to do anything any better.
- Ryan Feltner, Manchester, NH

so tom (candia), I guess by your way of thinking we get another Clinton term?
- Ellen, Portland

Bryan -
"I simply cannot understand why people are excited over Obama. He obviously is a horrible choice for President."

It's easy to understand. Obama is a better choice than McCain. After all, no reasonable American wants a 3rd term for Bush....
- tom, candia

LARJOS-You must've forgotten that the Democrats control Congress.
- Joe H, Manchester

The saddest thing about the people who support Obama is that Obama clearly has no respect for them, and they clearly have no respect for themselves.
- Tom, Campton

Yes, a great day for the country.

Hillary will not be any where near the seat of power. There is a God.
- Dave, Amherst

These two are a disgrace to our great Country. Everything they say is a lie and it is sad that some people actually fall for this. The Clinton's are sneaky and Obama is clueless. Get out of New Hampshire and take Shaheen with you.
- Morgan, Manchester,NH

Congratulations to Unity, NH -- remember that you started this general election campaign when Obama is sworn in as President next January! During the primary I would have been satisfied with any of the Democrats, which is why I switched to Republican to vote for McCain in order to keep Romney the heck out. I figured I could even live with McCain for president over those crazy other Republicans, but now that it's a two-man race, Obama all the way!
- Brian H., Manchester

I'm enjoying your coverage. But it's really a bummer, that Obama and HRC were not able to get their clothes from the exact same dye-lot.
- Amy Hasslacher, Washington, DC

Hey Al,,,

Aren't you going to slap a carbon ticket on the both of them!?!

They could have walked down the hall of the Capital building to have the show in a conference room.
- Barton449, Amherst

4 out of 5 voters in Unity,NH wanted someone other than the Empty Suit Obama as their leader.

You could put the real life experience of both of these two into a thimble.

Barry's only fools the MTV + Sitcom people.
- Joe, Manchester

This is the funniest thing I've read in ages. I love the Sheeple who actually believe what these two mopes are saying....even when presented with the facts of what came out of their mouths about each other not 2 months ago.
- Mike, Concord

Just what we need for leadership...a circus.
- Joe H, Manchester

It was hard to read this article and I kept throwing up a little in my mouth...

I simply cannot understand why people are excited over Obama. He obviously is a horrible choice for President.
- Bryan L, Nashua

The two of them should pack up their road show and leave!
They came to Unity because of a cute name and the chance for a soundbite. Kind of like why people mail christmas cards from Bethlehem. Don't trust them, don't believe them. They will change their tune as they see fit to get elected. Look what they have said and done to each other in the past... and now they "Rock"... Pathetic!
- John, Manchester

This is a great day for Democrats in NH, and the entire country!

Unity will win us the white house in 2008! it is time for a change! Welcome Sen. Clintion and Sen. Obama!
- James, Manchester

Clinton does not want Obama to in both for own good and for the country''s own good- She never thought he was experianced enough- she even said so- AND NOW she does? NO. She is a liar -always was.
