MERRIMACK -- Police have arrested a Nashua man accused of raping a 17-year-old girl at a local residence last November.

Dayne Titus, 20, of 6 Lessard St., has been charged with three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault for the incident.

Local authorities were notified of the alleged assault on May 23, at which time the 17-year-old female reported the crime, according to police. The matter was investigated by detectives from the Merrimack Police Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Nashua police assisted in Titus' arrest on Wednesday. He is being held on $20,000 cash bail, and is set to be arraigned Thursday at the Merrimack District Court.
