Only in Print: Officer tries to make traffic stop a positive experience

As a traffic officer, Patrolman Robert Harrington doesn’t always get a warm reception from the public.

But the 27-year veteran of the Manchester force says he operates with a basic philosophy that minimizes conflict with drivers, even when he has to write a ticket.
