Sauve's goal lifts P-Bruins over Monarchs

Maxime Sauve scored with less than five minutes left to give the Providence Bruins a 1-0 win over the Manchester Monarchs at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday night.

Sauve scored the only goal with 4:56 left in the third period. The goal was assisted by Josh Hennessy and Jamie Tardif.

The Monarchs outshot the Bruins 30-23 in the game, including 13-5 in the third period, but Providence was the only one to get the puck in the back of the net. Martin Jones finished with 22 saves for Manchester, while Anton Khudobin stopped all 30 shots he faced for Providence.
