Riley Cote three three touchdown passes and Junior Brown scored twice as Manchester Central won the city high school football championship with a 37-26 Turkey Bowl victory over Trinity at Gill Stadium, ending the Pioneers’ bid for a perfect season.

Division I Central finished its season with a 7-4 overall record while Division IV champion Trinity had its season-long unbeaten streak stopped at 11 games.

The Pioneers had a 12-0 lead after one quarter before Central rallied.

The Little Green improved to 17-10 on Thanksgiving since the Turkey Bowl became the city championship in 1981. Trinity’s Turkey Bowl record fell to 8-5.

In other Thanksgiving games, Nashua South romped over Nashua North at Stellos Stadium, 42-0, and Souhegan of Amherst topped Merrimack, 48-21.
