Drugs, cash seized in arrest of Seabrook man
SEABROOK - Police seized more than $5,000 in cash Wednesday from a man charged with dealing drugs, among other things.
Police pulled over David Hickey, 46, in Folly Mill Terrace, a street in the housing development where he lived, around 12:20 p.m. after receiving a tip that he had been dealing drugs.
Hickey allegedly tossed aside a bottle of pills and ran, police said, leading officers to zap him with a stun gun.
Lt. Mike Gallagher said police seized more than $5,000, 30 Oxycodone pills and a knife from Hickey.
Hickey is charged with drug possession with the intent to distribute, being a felon in possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and driving without a license. He was arraigned Thursday in district court in Portsmouth and held on $25,000 cash bail.
