He may not have been there for the start of the war with Iraq, but a New Hampshire man had a front row view of history when it ended. Senior Airman Ryan Weeks of the 157th Air Refueling Wing of the New Hampshire Air National Guard, a Milan resident, represented the U.S. Air Force in the Armed Forces Color Guard that lowered the flag used by U.S. forces in Iraq during a ceremony Thursday in Baghdad. The event effectively ended the nearly 9-year war.
