O'Brien, Bettencourt back Tucker run for Republican National Committee seat
CONCORD – N.H. House Speaker William O'Brien and House Majority Leader D.J. Bettencourt announced their support today for Deputy House Speaker Pamela Tucker's run for Republican national committeewoman.
"As a fellow co-chair of the House Republican Alliance in the last term, I came to admire Pam's skills as a leader early on," said O'Brien, R-Mont Vernon. "She has been a true leader in her role as deputy house speaker and is exceptionally qualified to be New Hampshire's next Republican national committeewoman."
“As deputy speaker, Pam has the experience necessary to promote our Republican principles," said Bettencourt, R-Salem. "She has been a uniting influence in the House and is effective in bringing all different outlooks to the table. Pam is well-respected by her colleagues and would make an excellent national committeewoman.”
