Manchester SWAT seizes guns, drugs
MANCHESTER — Four handguns, $22,000 in cash, 300 oxycodone pills and approximately one-half pound of marijuana, plus two vehicles, were confiscated as Manchester Police SWAT executed search warrants at two city locations and arrested three men early Thursday.
Tosatti Padmore, 26, and Neville Padmore, 27, were arrested during the search at 184 Garden Drive. Although the men gave the address of 12 Oakwood Circle, Goffstown, police said it appeared they lived at the Garden Drive address.
Police said one of the handguns, reported stolen in Meredith, was found in Tosatti Padmore’s bedroom, while the other guns were found in the kitchen area. One of those guns had been reported stolen in Manchester.
Tosatti Padmore was charged with felony sale of a controlled drug, possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.
Neville Padmore was charged with felony possession of a controlled drug (oxycodone) with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana) with intent to distribute. He was also charged with possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.
Tosatti Padmore refused bail and Neville Padmore was denied bail because he is being held on a probation violation. Both men were detained in the Valley Street Jail and are expected to be arraigned Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District Division.
A third man, Gary Hawkins, 41, was arrested at 196 Laurel St., and charged with two felony counts of sale of a controlled drug (cocaine).
The search warrants were obtained following cooperative investigations between the Manchester Police Special Investigations Union, the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force and New Hampshire Probation and Parole.
