Truck pulls down power lines in Manchester

MANCHESTER - Police reopened Front Street around noon Wednesday after a tractor-trailer pulled down power lines.

&#';It&#';s disrupting people going to the dump,&#'; Manchester Patrolman Rob Harrington said. &#';It&#';s disrupting people going to the animal shelter.&#';

Traffic was blocked for about 90 minutes, from the Amoskeag traffic circle to north of Dunbarton Road, where the 10:30 a.m. accident occurred. Electric crews were working to repair two poles and restring the power lines.
