Nashua felon armed with knives arrested
NASHUA - Police arrested a city man Wednesday at a downtown business who was armed with two knives.
Kendall Dole, 52, of Dow Street was taken into custody Wednesday morning after police received a report that he was in possession of the knives. Dole, who has a prior felony conviction making it a criminal offense for him to carry a knife, was arrested after police recovered the weapons in a nearby trash receptacle, according to police.
One of the knives recovered was a double-edged dagger knife, said police.
Dole was charged with being a convicted felon and possession of a controlled drug for the incident. He was being held on $25,000 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at Nashua District Court.
