Only in Print: Student apathy, diversity can hurt NECAP test scores, schools say






Twice each school year, students in seven grades sit down for standardized tests they've been preparing for weeks to take. Teachers and administrators concede that schools “teach to the test,” especially to younger students during the fall session. Also, we take a look at test scores around the region, and talk to parents to get their feelings on how testing affects their kids.
