Purse snatched in restaurant parking lot
MANCHESTER - A 55-year-old woman had her purse snatched Saturday in the parking lot at the Puritan Restaurant.
The woman left the restaurant at 6:45 p.m. and had just opened the driver’s door to her car when a man approached her and she felt something pressed against her side, according to a police press release.
The man took her purse from her shoulder and then ordered her to get into the car as he walked away.
He was last seen running south on Oak Street.
The robber is described as a white man, 60 years old, 5-foot-10 with an average build. He was clean shaven with short gray hair and wore a navy blue sports coat with red trim and a dark colored baseball hat.
