Only in Print - Marc Thaler's High School Hockey: Proud Berlin wants to leave its mark

Berlin's Mountaineers are the main story in this final week of regular-season high school hockey.

Why does a sub-.500 team — currently outside the 10-team tournament field — garner such attention? Tradition-rich Berlin (6-10) plays its final Division I home game tonight against Londonderry (7-7-1). The next time the Mountaineers skate at Notre Dame Arena, they'll be competing in Division III.
