Man seriously injured in snowmobile accident
PELHAM — A man was seriously injured Friday night when he was thrown from a snowmobile on Quail Run Road, according to police and fire officials.
Police Sgt. Glen Chase said the man, whom police are still trying to identify, sustained a serious head injury in the crash, which happened about 10 p.m. Friday.
Fire Lt. Greg Atwood said the injuries were not life threatening and the man was taken to Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Mass., for treatment.
Officials have not determined a cause for the accident.
