New Boston man charged with distributing child porn
MANCHESTER - A New Boston man was arraigned Friday in Circuit Court-Manchester District on five felony charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.
Dana Moody, 44, of 129 Clark Hill Road, was arrested Thursday by members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children task force and the New Boston Police Department.
The charges stem from images and videos featuring sexual abuse of infants and toddlers that were found when a search warrant was executed at Moody's residence.
Each of the class A felonies is punishable, upon conviction, by up to 15 years in state prison, plus fines.
Bail was set initially at $25,000 cash/surety and reduced to $10,000 cash/surety at Moody's arraignment Friday. A probable cause hearing was set for March 29 in the 9th Circuit Court-Goffstown District Division.
The task force, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, was assisted by Concord, Nashua and Portsmouth police and the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.
