Manchester man charged in two burglaries
MANCHESTER - A local man was arrested after an officer responding to a burglar alarm spotted him in the rear of the business with a backpack of stolen goods, according to police.
Justin Provencher, 24, is charged with two counts of burglary and violating bail conditions.
He was arrested about 9:35 p.m. Monday after an officer, responding to a burglar alarm at The Wax Specialist, 150 Beech St., saw him behind the building. He had tools on him and a backpack containing two laptops and cell phones that were stolen in a burglary of a 224 Silver St. residence, police said.
Police said Provencher broke into the business through a basement window and forced open a rear door to get inside the Silver Street residence.
