Changes add more news, info to UnionLeader.com
Changes being made this week to UnionLeader.com will make more news available, including virtually all print material, from New Hampshire's most complete and comprehensive news source.
To take best advantage, please read on and remember to register at UnionLeader.com, especially if you are a subscriber.
Our print and “e-Edition'' subscribers who register will have free access to all areas of UnionLeader.com.
As is now the case, access to obituaries at UnionLeader.com will remain free and open to all, as will classified advertisements, including all legal notices.
UnionLeader.com visitors who are not subscribers will find limited access to stories but they may register to access the full text of up to 10 online items free of charge each month. Registration is simple and free. Once registered, remember to sign in when visiting the site. Visitors who reach the story limit may purchase a single-issue “e-Edition” or become a subscriber. Stories won't be sold individually.
Unlike many news companies, the Union Leader has never published all its printed material on its website. With the new system, virtually all print material, as well as material never before published, will be available at UnionLeader.com.
Registered subscribers and visitors may also sign up for one or more of these free e-mailed features: Union Leader morning headlines, breaking news alerts, and NewHampshire.com top 10 weekend events
NewHampshire.com, which features the lighter side of New Hampshire, will be part of the new system as well.
Subscription information is available by clicking the “subscribe'' button at the top of UnionLeader.com's homepage.
Print and “e-Edition” subscribers should register by clicking the “register” button on the right side of UnionLeader.com's homepage just below our nameplate. Visitors who wish to register should do likewise. Site users who have previously registered in order to comment on stories should not need to re-register unless they are registering a subscription.
The changes include easy online management of one's subscription for payments, account information, and vacation stops.
The revised site features many more news and feature items and allows the option of choosing news by major category or by geographic region, i.e., Lakes, White Mts., Merrimack Valley.
See UnionLeader.com/faq for more information.
