Fishers rained out; Cecil activated for start tomorrow

Southpaw Brett Cecil has been activated from the disabled list and is slated to make his third start of the season tonight at 6 p.m. in the series finale with the hosting Portland Sea Dogs, the Fisher Cats announced on Tuesday.

Cecil (0-2, 7.30) will be opposed by Sea Dogs righty Stolmy Pimentel (0-0, 5.79).

Tuesday's game was postponed due to steady rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 13 beginning at 6 p.m. at Hadlock Field.

The Fisher Cats return home on Thursday to begin a four-game set with the Binghamton Mets at 6:35 p.m. Northeast Delta Dental Stadium will host Girls Night Out with food and drink specials for the ladies.
