Email restored for Comcast customers
';We are aware that some Comcast residential Internet customers may not be able to log into comcast.net email,'; Comcast spokesman Marc Goodman said. By 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, the service was restored, he said.
Goodman said the company';s Internet service was not affected by the disruption, which only affected email service through Comcast and not through other email service carriers. He did not have a timeframe for when service would be restored to all customers.
';Our engineers are working to determine the root cause,'; he said. ';We apologize for any inconvenience.';
