Currier offers ArtFest for Mother's weekend
MANCHESTER — The Currier Museum of Art will hold a two-day Spring ArtFest this Mother's Day weekend. ArtFest will include family art workshops, museum shop featured artists, deals on art books and Mother's Day brunch. There are also special Mother's Day and garden-themed tours to enjoy
Throughout the weekend, buy jewelry from local artists and see demonstrations from jewelry-makers Sandra McCaw, Lauren Pollaro and Joy Raskin. Textile artist Becky O. Potter Rachel Montroy and glassmaker Aaron Slater will also show their skills. Visitors can use a community loom to create an original piece of woven art.
