NASHUA - A Londonderry man is accused of stealing more than $1,000 from a cash register at his place of employment.

Police say Ryan Stenger, 19, of 2 Carousel Court, allegedly conducted several fraudulent register transactions recently at PetSmart in Nashua where he was employed.

Stenger was arrested on Friday and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a felony. The thefts totaled more than $1,000, according to police.

He is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned June 11 at the 9th Circuit Court in Nashua.
