Bottle smashed over man’s head in downtown Nashua bar
NASHUA — A Massachusetts man allegedly smashed a bottle over the head of a patron at the Peddler’s Daughter this past weekend.
Michael Murray, 29, of Billerica, Mass., was involved in a confrontation with another man around 1 a.m. on Sunday at the downtown bar, according to police, who said Murray allegedly hit the unidentified man with a bottle, causing a laceration to the victim’s head.
Murray was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, a felony. His bail was set at $5,000 cash or surety, and he was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at the 9th Circuit Court in Nashua.
