MANCHESTER POLICE expect to charge PAUL DIMICK, 20, of Manchester, in connection with Monday's stabbing on Rimmon Street. He was arrested on a parole violation.

MANCHESTER - A local man is recovering from as many as 10 stab wounds suffered in an early Monday morning incident on Rimmon Street.

Police learned of the stabbing after they received a call from Catholic Medical Center where Charles Cable, 19, last known address of 107 Putnam St., was dropped off at the emergency room suffering from stab wounds.

Investigators identified Paul Dimick, 20, of 46 Falls Ave., as a suspect in the stabbing. He was located on the second floor of 322 Rimmon St. and arrested Monday morning on a parole violation.

The stabbing happened about 1:40 a.m. in front of 322 Rimmon St. Police said the two men know each other and the stabbing was the result of a dispute between them.

Detectives, who continue to process the scene and investigate, expect to charge Dimick later today in the stabbing.

A patrol car was parked in front of the apartment building Monday morning and crime scene tape cordoned off the area.
