Excavator worth $70,000 stolen in Plaistow
PLAISTOW — Police are investigating the theft of an excavator from a construction site.
Deputy Police Chief Kathleen Jones said the 2011 Caterpillar brand mini excavator, which is worth about $70,000, was taken sometime Wednesday night from the site where a new Tractor Supply Company is under construction on Route 125.
Jones said the excavator was likely taken from the site on a trailer.
