Five arrested after police checkpoints
FRANKLIN — New Hampshire State Police arrested five people Saturday night, making 348 vehicle stops at a safety and sobriety checkpoint on Route 3 near the Franklin Plaza.
The arrests include two people suspected of driving while intoxicated, one person charged with operating after a license suspension, and two people charged with possession of a controlled substance. All were bailed for later court dates.
