Weather suspended all three NHIAA boys' team tennis championships Tuesday.

Today at 3:30 p.m. at Pinkerton Academy of Derry, the Division III championship will resume with Profile of Bethlehem and Bow tied at 2-2. The match will resume with two more singles matches before moving into the doubles portion of the match.

The top-seeded Falcons (15-0) won their last title in 2002 while Profile (13-1) is making its first appearance in the championship round.

Londonderry owned a 3-2 lead in its Division I state championship duel with Exeter at Bedford High School when thunder, lightning and rain on the way forced the title match to be postponed. The match will resume on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Bedford.

The Lancers were a point from finishing off the singles with a 4-2 lead when the match was called. It will pick up with Exeter senior Lino Cantarella serving to Londonderry junior Mike Paquette. Cantarella trails 8-7 in games and it's ad-out.

By winning at least the two singles matches, Exeter has already assured the match will come down to the doubles matches.

Londonderry got its wins from Harrison Max at No. 1 over Corey Guen, 8-2; Tim Court at No. 2 over Chris Lietz, 8-1; and Ryan Broderick at No. 4 over Ty Cloyd, 8-3.

Exeter's wins came at No. 3 with Ryan Pasternak beating Matt McKinney, 8-6, and No. 6 with Chip McNaughton stopping Nick Beaton, 8-0

The Lancers (16-0) won the regular season meeting between the teams, 7-2. That was the only regular season loss for Exeter (15-1), which won the 2009 championship.

At Derryfield School in Manchester, site of the Division II title match between Hanover (15-0) and two-time defending champion Bedford (15-1), Bulldogs head coach Shawna Morley said thunder and lightning “forced us to stop a great tennis match.”

Bedford and Hanover will resume their match on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Derryfield School.

The singles portion of the match ended in a 3-3 tie and doubles play will commence Thursday.

In singles play, Mark HoSang of Bedford defeated Nick Ballou 8-2 at No. 1 singles while McKinley Grimes of Bedford upended Christian Mueller 8-2 at No. 2.

Hanover's Tornike Shubtitidze beat Jim Delahunty 8-3 at No. 3 while Bedford's Dan Soucy toppled Luke Candido 8-2 at No. 4.

The last two singles matches went to Hanover as Conor Schon beat Jim Foley 8-2 and, Jackson Greenspan blanked Zach Anderson, 8-0.
