Hanover pharmacist to remain on suspension

CONCORD — The suspension of Jeffrey A. Licht’s state pharmacy license will continue indefinitely, the state Board of Pharmacy has ruled.

An investigation will continue until a hearing is scheduled on the merits, or a proposed settlement or license surrender is proposed, according to a May 23 order.

Licht’s license was suspended May 11 on an emergency basis, and a hearing was held May 16.

The board said it found by a preponderance of the evidence that Licht diverted hydrocodone from Dick’s House Pharmacy at Dartmouth College on about 60 separate occasions in 2010 and 2011.

The board said it found Licht’s testimony not to be credible.

Licht, 62, of Hanover, is on administrative leave from Dick’s House.
