Deerfield crash closes North Road
DEERFIELD — Police and fire personnel were at the scene of a bad accident Sunday night on North Road, initially calling for a DHART medical helicopter.
Deerfield police said they were called to the area of 60 North Road around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a car hitting a tree.
Early information from the scene included reports of a 9-year-old girl trapped inside a vehicle.
Police shut down North Road in two locations while responding to the accident.
At 9:40 p.m., Deerfield command reported that the victim was extricated, and cancelled the request for a medical helicopter.
