Manchester Sen. Lou D'Allesandro announces he's running for eighth term
MANCHESTER — Democratic state Sen. Lou D'Allesandro of Manchester on Monday announced his candidacy for an eighth term representing District 20 in the Senate.
The 73-year-old former member of the Executive Council, New Hampshire House and Manchester School Board said he will campaign enthusiastically and during an event at the Manchester Diner, called on supporters to do the same on his behalf.
Two Republicans have announced candidacies in the district, Reps. Phil Greazzo of Manchester and John Hikel of Goffstown.
The district comprises Manchester Wards 3, 4, 10 and 11 and the town of Goffstown.
