MANCHESTER — The search for this year’s Manchester Young Professionals Network’s Start Up Challenge has been narrowed to three.

GroupTrip, Gear Freedom and Ustabilize will deliver a final elevator pitch to the audience on June 20.

“The real exciting part is that the winner will be announced live on the 20th, and the results are sealed at this point and will be tabulated the night of the final pitch,” E.J. Powers, Start Up Challenge co-chairman and past MYPN chairman, said.

A behind-the-scenes video of this year’s competition will be shown.

GroupTrip is a web application that allows friends to share research, plan trips and track group expenses.

Gear Freedom is an outdoor sports equipment rental company for kayaks, bikes or skis.

Ustabilize is an interactive game for Apple Internet devices that challenges users to balance in different positions.

Guests are encouraged to pre-register at mypn.org.

The winning prize package consists of up to $25,000 in cash; an Ultimate South by Southwest (SXSW) Experience courtesy of DYN; $20,000 in advertising support from Business NH Magazine; a year’s residence at abi Innovation Hub’s Accelerator Program.

Also included are accounting and legal services.

Nearly 30 entrepreneurs applied and seven semi-finalists presented to a panel of judges on May 30. Judges included Pat McDermott, PSNH; Gray Chynoweth, DYN; Matt Rightmire, Borealis Ventures; David Cassidy, Centrix Bank; Phil Ryan, Ryan Associates; and Preston Hunter, Eckman Construction and MYPN chairman.
