Thunder eliminate Spurs, reach NBA Finals
OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Thunder booked their place in the NBA Finals with a series-clinching 107-99 win over the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
The Thunder, still riding momentum after halting the Spurs' 20-game winning streak last week, registered their fourth consecutive win to clinch the best-of-seven Western Conference championship 4-2 on their home court.
Oklahoma City will play the winner of the Eastern Conference final between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat in the best-of-seven championship series.
