Armed man robs gas station, police say



CONCORD — An apparently armed man fled the scene after robbing the Mobil Gas Station at 1 Eastman St., East Concord, shortly after 5 p.m., police said.

A lone black male entered the business and demanded cash. The subject had his hand under his shirt and it appeared that he had a weapon, the clerk told police.

He is described as over 6 feet tall and approximately 250 pounds, in his 30s, with stubble on his face. He was said to be wearing sun glasses, a red baseball cap, a blue coat, and was carrying a sack on his back.

The robber fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
