Woman struck crossing street
MANCHESTER — A woman was being treated at Elliot Hospital for injuries suffered when a car struck her as she attempted to walk across Elm Street Tuesday night.
The collision occurred about 11:15 p.m. near 1245 Elm St. between Orange and Pearl streets, police said.
Few details were available late Tuesday night as police investigated the collision. Neither the pedestrian's nor the motorist's names were immediately available.
