LACONIA —Police say they removed the promoter of a tattoo artist show from a function hall after getting complaints of possible fraud.

Laconia police Officer Eric Adams said the promoter of the show, Jacqueline Dieli, was removed from a function hall at Lake Opechee Inn and Spa.

An investigation is being conducted into whether any laws were broken.

The event was billed as featuring 50-60 tattoo artists, including celebrity artists.
