Pediatric society names 2012 winners
CONCORD — The New Hampshire Pediatric Society named its 2012 award winners, with Dr. John Moeschler the 2012 New Hampshire Pediatrician of the Year.
A professor of pediatrics at Dartmouth Medical School and director of clinical genetics at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth, he is cited for his 20 year tenure as director of the New Hampshire Leadership Education in Developmental and Related Disabilities.
The 2012 Franklin Norwood Rogers Award, awarded to the retired pediatrician of the year, went to Dr. Suzanne Boulter.
Dr. Boulter enjoyed a long career as a primary care and adolescent medicine pediatrician in Concord, first with the Concord Clinic (which later became Dartmouth-Hitchcock Concord) and, for 13 years until her retirement in 2011, as a pediatric faculty member of the NH-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency Program at Concord Hospital.
The 2012 NHPS Public Citizen Award was awarded to all 14 family support coordinators of the New Hampshire Partners in Health Program: Joyce Bernier (Lancaster), Janice Boudreau (Concord), Georgie Clark (Portsmouth), Adam Dalpra (Upper Valley), Judy Day (Littlleton), Katy Gautsch (Laconia), Sandra Katsikas (Manchester), Kristen McTigue (Nashua), Janet O'Brien (Keene), Maura Pennisi (Derry), Carmen Polo (Manchester), Judy Saddler (Dover), Bethany Smith (Laconia) and Leslie Stanicki (Conway)
Partners in Health is a program of Special Medial Services for Children and Youth that provides support to young adults and the families of children with chronic health conditions.
