Mass. man injured in Pelham crash
PELHAM — A Massachusetts man suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash Saturday night.
Pelham police say Michael Walworth, 27, of Methuen, Mass., was medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital after he lost control of his vehicle, a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer, and hit a parked car in a driveway at 46 Old Gage Hill Road at 8:28 p.m. The vehicle then rolled over and came to rest against a residence there, then caught on fire.
A responding Pelham police officer and an unidentified individual helped pull Walworth from the vehicle. Walworth was listed Sunday night in serious condition.
Police said speed and alcohol may have been a factor, though the investigation is ongoing.
