Fugitive of the Week arrested at Vt. airport
Last week’s Fugitive of the Week, Eric Cook was arrested late Wednesday afternoon in Burlington, Vt., just before he boarded a flight to Florida.
Cook was featured last Thursday as the U.S. Marshal’s “Fugitive of the Week” in the New Hampshire Union Leader and other news media, and reports from the public led to his arrest.
He was wanted by the state parole board on an outstanding arrest warrant for parole violations stemming from original convictions and sentences for identity theft, credit card fraud, and theft of services. Cook is on parole until at least 2018 for these convictions.
He was to be returned to New Hampshire State Prison in Concord on Wednesday.
