MEREDITH — Ruth Neidhardt of Lakes Region Luxury Real Estate has been named the 2012 Lakes Region Realtor of the Year, the highest honor that can be received by a member of the Lakes Region Board of Realtors.

Luann Flood, past president of the Lakes Region board and Realtor of the Year for 2011, said in a news release, “Not only does she consistently adhere to the high standards of practice in our profession, but has been steadfast in her commitment to our local and state boards as a director and as a member of various committees.”

Neidhardt was chosen from a group of candidates considered by the board's nominating committee.

Since joining the Lakes Region Board of Realtors in 1994, Neidhardt has served on committees including Grievance, professional standards, finance, by-laws and public relations, and is a board officer, serving as secretary. On a state level, she has for the past two years served on the New Hampshire Association of Realtors Legal Committee and Professional Standards subcommittee.
