Man pleads guilty in deportation case
CONCORD — A Dominican man has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to re-entering the United States after having been deported twice to his home country.
According to a release from U.S. Attorney John Kacavas, Eliezer Lara, 38, was deported to the Dominican Republic in 1993 and in 2000. He was found in Manchester on March 24, Kacavas said. He is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 25 and faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
