House overrides partial-birth abortion veto
CONCORD - The state House of Representatives voted Wednesday to override Gov. John Lynch's veto of a bill outlawing partial birth abortion.
The vote was 240 in favor of the override and 118 against. It now moves to the Senate and becomes law if the Senate also votes to override Lynch
The House also sustained Lynch's veto of a bill requiring legislative approval of collective bargaining agreements with state workers.
