Meetings on tap for those seeking Medicaid info
CONCORD — N.H. Department of Health and Human Services has added an information session on the new Medicaid Care Management program to be held at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin on July 12.
It is one of a dozen sessions during June and July.
The meetings are designed for Medicaid-covered patients, family members and caregivers and for human service agency case managers or service coordinators who work with them. Others also are welcome to attend.
The sessions will address the new Medicaid Care Management program, which is expected to begin enrolling clients in October and providing services in December.
Topics include information about when the new program will start, what people need to do when signing up for the program, how people can pick a Care Management health plan and how the new program will work.
All of the sessions will cover the same information, so people only need to attend one. Registration is encouraged but not required.
