Manchester man charged in pipe robbery
MANCHESTER — A Manchester resident has been charged with using a long metal pipe to rob the Seven-11 store on Brown Avenue overnight Thursday.
Donald Moore, 47, was arrested at his Youville Street home and charged with armed robbery and violation of bail conditions
Police said a Manchester police officer and several people identified Moore as the man who entered the convenience store about 2 a.m. Friday and threatened a female clerk with the pipe. When Moore walked around the counter, she jumped over it and fled toward the rear of the store.
Police said the robber left without any money.
