Mass. man rescued from Calef Lake
AUBURN — A Massachusetts man was found floating in Calef Lake on Wednesday, Fire Chief Bruce Phillips said.
Phillips said the man was staying at Calef Lake Camping Area and was found about 7 p.m. Wednesday by nearby residents, who performed CPR until emergency crews arrived.
Phillips said the man, whose name was not available, had a pulse and blood pressure when firefighters took him to Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
He didn't know why the man was in the water, and “we're not sure how long he'd been in the water,” he said.
