Berlin woman succumbs to injuries from July 4 crash
A Berlin woman critically injured in a July 4 accident on Martha’s Vineyard has died, Massachusetts State Police said.
Police said Heather LaFlamme, 21, died Saturday at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Massachusetts State Police announced her death Monday night.
LaFlamme was a rear seat passenger in 2012 Jeep Wrangler that was attempting to make a U-turn when it was struck by another vehicle. Dummer residents Seth and Martha Jones, as well as the driver Thomas Jones, were also hurt in the crash. Police said an investigation into the accident is continuing.
