20 headstones damaged in Laconia
LACONIA — Police are looking for the people responsible for knocking over and damaging approximately 20 headstones at Union Cemetery.
The damage occurred Thursday night or early Friday. The damage was reported around 7:15 a.m. Friday, police said.
A cemetery worker told police the damage totaled about $20,000.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Laconia police at 524-5252 or the Greater Laconia Crimeline at 524-1717.
